A Wedding with Abundant LoveAshley Abner and Paul Bargo said I Do at Country Ridge Venue in Glasgow, KY on November 24, 2019 surrounded by the love of many. Ashley joined us as an MG Bride pretty early in her planning process. This allowed for a very resourceful experience with vendor recommendations and other planning assistance. With Ashley living and working in another city several miles from Glasgow, it wasn't as convenient for us to meet face-to-face, keeping that in mind, Ashley and I kept in constant communication via text and email as we prepared for her big day. Ashley and Paul opted for a Sunday union, so the first day I bet this sweet couple was the day of their wedding and I knew instantly how much of a perfect match they were for one another, and their whole day was just as wonderful as the love they shared. It was a perfectly crisp and golden day in late fall for Ashley and Paul to get married. For this event, MG Wedding Coordination provided hands-on assistance by not just one Coordinator, but two as Associate Aubrey Reynolds joined the scene. When we arrived, the Bridal Suite was buzzing with giddy conversation and smiles were all around while they all got dolled up for the special occasion. All the while, Aubrey and I were tasked with adding drapery to the ceremony backdrop. The wind wasn't being too friendly, but fortunately with a box of safety pins in tow we were able to give each arch a swooning flow before lining the aisle with 1 Corinthians 13 signs. While the finishing touches of decor were coming together, Ashley and Paul geared up for pictures and their long awaited first look. Country Ridge Venue has both indoor and outdoor event options and Ashley took full advantage of the space. The indoor area boasted tables eloquently set for a beautiful dinner and reception scene, the patio was home to the Hot Chocolate Bar and complimentary guest blankets, while the ceremony space was adorned with beautiful personalized pieces and an antique doorway by which the family, Bridal Party, and Bride made their grand entrance. Once everyone had been ushered in for the ceremony, sweet promises were made and commitment to a lifetime together was entered into by the glowing Bride and Groom. Their families and friends that surrounded them for this joyous occasion celebrated with happy tears and applause for the new Mr. and Mrs. One of my favorite components of this big day was the people we got to share it with. Following the ceremony, the wedding party was introduced to the reception. The newly wed Bargos shared their head table with their parents. Y'all, the emotions this family presented and the kindness they shared were so memorable for me as a wedding vendor, and I can only imagine the connectedness that this also made the guests feel. Ashley's reception served a tasty barbecue meal that was enjoyed by everyone before the next set of big moments were shared. From the Bride and Groom's first dance, to the Groom's with his mother, and the Bride's with her father -- every moment was so precious. Aubrey and I made sure the music was cued and everyone was in position, for every dance and speech, while at the same time being cheerleaders for all those involved with each of these special moments. While family and friends danced, enjoyed cake, and posed for pictures with the Bride and Groom, I felt so much gratitude for the atmosphere I was a part of. At the end of the night once the bouquet was thrown and sparklers had lit a path for the new Mr. and Mrs., the Bargos began their forever surrounded by the love and support of so many.
