I can't wait for you to delve into the love story of Elizabeth and Chasz, but before you do, I wanted to introduce you to this guest Author! I am so excited to feature a post written by MG Wedding Coordination Associate, Natalie Hubbard, with edits by myself. Natalie is an awesome, all hands-on-deck, bubbly gal and she makes such a great addition to your wedding day experience. I'm lucky to have her on my team, and I can't wait for you to hear her take on this beautiful day. A Beautiful Commitment of LoveWritten by: Natalie Hubbard || Edited by: Morgan Gossett On October 19, 2019, family and friends gathered to witness Elizabeth Ivie and Chasz Bohannon profess their love to one another in a beautiful church ceremony. The celebrations continued well into the night on the sprawling lawn of a family friend. As an Associate Coordinator, I only met Elizabeth the week before her big day, as we discussed any changes or last minute ideas she had. However, knowing her sister from competitive dancing and the short meeting I had with Elizabeth, I knew this wedding was going to be a blast to coordinate! Elizabeth’s bridal party was just that- a PARTY. They were so much fun to be around, and the love they all shared for Elizabeth was evident throughout the day. While the girls prepped at a separate location, I began distributing florals, arranging decorations to the bride’s taste, and checking in with vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. Once the bride arrived, pictures began and I was officially on “keep the groom away” duty! Jumping between making sure the groom didn’t catch a glimpse of the bride and assisting the photographers and videographers, the day flew by! One of the duties I take most seriously, and that I have found brides appreciate the most, is ensuring the bridal party is lined up correctly and that everyone gets down the aisle with perfect timing. After everyone was safely ushered down the aisle, I made a silent exit to check in at the reception. Elizabeth and Chasz chose to light their event with beautiful paper lanterns hung from the ceiling of their tented reception and candles on the tables. After ensuring these were lit, I began setting up their cake table- cake, topper, decorations and all! Once the bridal party arrived, I coordinated their announcement to the reception and things kicked off in full swing! From the heartfelt words shared during the toasts, to the full dance floor, there was one thing you could tell for sure about this couple -- not only did they love each other, but they were so loved. The good times continued as everyone laughed, snapped selfies, and danced away on into the night. The Bohannon wedding was beautiful and full of love, as they were surrounded by the sweetest family and dear friends. To kick off the finale of this union, the two newly weds finished off their night with a pathway to forever lined by flickering sparklers shining in the dark of the night.
